The Ameraucanas are recognized by the APA. This Breed has 8 recognized varieties: Blue Wheaten, Wheaten, Black, Buff, Blue, Brown Red, White, and Silver. Click here for the History and the standard information for this breed. Ameraucana chickens are not to be confused with Araucana chickens or Easter Egger chickens because they are different breeds.

We have relocated our farm from Arkansas to Oklahoma and in doing so have not been able to set up the breeding pens.
