The Ameraucanas are recognized by the APA. This Breed has 8 recognized varieties: Blue Wheaten, Wheaten, Black, Buff, Blue, Brown Red, White, and Silver. Click here for the History and the standard information for this breed. Ameraucana chickens are not to be confused with Araucana chickens or Easter Egger chickens because they are different breeds.

We relocated from Arkansas to Oklahoma and had to reduce our flock. We sold all but one of the Black Ameraucana chickens. So at this time we do not have any Black Ameraucana available. We may continue to raise the Black through the Blue bloodline later down the line.
